Recommended by Practical Photography Magazine!
Now that you've got this expensive SLR camera you of course want to just seize every opportunity to use it whether on land or underwater to take those photos of the moments and sights you want to cherish. There is that one problem though - water, sand and dirt always seem to get in the way in the great outdoors. These elements do not do well with any equipment and your expensive SLR is certainly no exception.

All the details...
It's guaranteed submersible to 15 feet (5 metres).
You can take great photographs right through the LENZFLEX windows (see below). Even underwater.
The SLR Camera Case (code 455) is compatible with most non-zoom compact cameras.
It'll float with your camera in it.
The UV-stabilized TPU material won't be broken down or discoloured by sunlight.
It keeps out dust and sand too. They're a particular problem for cameras (just ask the repairman at your local camera store).
Special Note:
To get the best photos through Aquapac cases, here are some tips:
Try to avoid flash photography, but if you do need to use a flash, pull the case tight over the flash area so the light doesn't bounce back over the lens
Make sure the Aquapac lens is pulled close to your camera's lens
Keep the lens window clean and avoid scratching it
Underwater photography requires clear water and good light
Some autofocus cameras cannot cope with underwater photos due to particles in the water - test a few shots with your camera first
Submersion Note:
Be extremely careful if you plan to shoot underwater. Although with the clip sealed it is completely waterproof, the quick-action lever system means you could inadvertently knock a lever open underwater. It was conceived for surface use and to protect against accidental immersion.
Supplied with...
It comes with an adjustable neckcord so you can hang it round your neck.
It comes with a packet of 5 re-usable, re-indicating desiccant sachets. These will help absorb any condensation in the air inside the case. If you know you're going to be taking it somewhere particularly humid like Jacksonville or the jungle, you'd be well advised to buy a few extra packets.
It comes with Aquapac's 3-year global warranty (see 'Buy with confidence' below).
Recent improvements...
2008 sees Aquapac going '100% PVC-Free'. The new material (TPU) offers a number of advantages:
It's softer and more malleable. Making it even easier to operate your camera controls through the material.
It'll perform much better if you want to take it somewhere really cold. It'll still be soft and malleable at -40º and below.
It has a greater tensile strength, meaning it's even more difficult to tear or rip apart.
Sizing guide...
The SLR Camera Case (code 455) fits most small digital cameras without a zoom lens. To make sure you choose the right case check out the Size Guide. If your camera body is very small but has a zoom lens, you will probably be better off with the Small Compact Camera Case with Hard Lens.
The patented Aquaclip® seals the case - with a simple twist of a couple of levers. It's been tested to the toughest international waterproofing standards.
Will I really get good photos through the plastic?
Yes! The special hard lens on the case provide a rigid housing for the camera lens and it's optically-clear. And the sturdy but flexible material allows you to operate all the camera controls.
Ok, not every photo is going to be perfect. But we're all used to that aren't we! Most of the time nobody will be able to tell you were using a case.
What Aquapac customers are saying...
"I just purchased two of your products for a recent trip to the Caribbean, and I just wanted to say how wonderful your camera case is! We were able to take some amazing pictures while snorkeling!"
Shelley Oliver, USA
What the Press are saying...
"The Aquapac is light and tough. The easiest waterproofing you can buy."
The Mail on Sunday, UK
Who's buying?...
This Aquapac case is for the serious photographer who wants to protect their camera without completely disabling it within a rigid case.
More than just a good idea...
Great photos through the case, waterproof protection from the elements, floats if dropped overboard... a winning combination.
