About Homestead Hikers
Homestead Hikers is family owned and located in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. We offer hand crafted hiking sticks and walking canes made from several types of wood including sassafras, hickory, dogwood, persimmon, cedar, sumac and hawthorn root. Homestead Hikers' mission is to provide our customers with a superior product at a competitive price supported by dependable service.
About our Hikers and Canes
Each hiker and cane is hand selected, to ensure the level of quality we demand. Then kiln dried, this makes each hiker and cane lighter and last for years. Each hiker and cane is then hand finished coated with a water proof glossy finish, fitted with a leather wrist strap, and rubber tip.
Custom hikers are available such as our unique vine wrapped sticks - found naturally in the wild, and no two are alike!

Hiking Sticks from Homestead Hikers are available from 32" to 59" in length and made from several types of wood. When ordering a hiking stick and not sure what length you need, a good guideline is one that is 6 to 10 inches above your elbow.
Add-Ons
Hang on whistle and compass make nice additions to hiking sticks back packs or anything you can attach one to. Hang on whistles are hand carved and about 4" in length. Hang on compass is the same liquid filled compass we use in our compass stick and survivor stick embedded in a section about 2" in length.
