This cable solves the problem of low-battery voltage appliance shut-downs in appliances that are used to having 12V electricity from lead-acid batteries. It is used to regulate the APP output of a Goal Zero Yeti Lithium to a consistent voltage, improving compatibility with 12V-powered devices.

NOTE: Not for use with lead-acid Yetis.

Lithium batteries operate at a slightly lower native voltage than standard lead-acid batteries. 11.1V for some lithium chemistries, while lead-acids are approx 12.7V when fully charged. So, some 12V appliances will read the lithium battery voltage and assume that the battery is low and will shut-down or sound a low-battery alarm. Both situations are annoying. You might have 85% full charge status on your Yeti, and yet it refuses to run your cooler!
