Uses a 9V battery to operate the tester, which means you get more accurate readings.

Two scales are provided… one for standard alkaline batteries (Duracell, Energizer, Rayovac, etc), and another scale for measuring rechargeable NiMh batteries. If you rely on NiMh rechargeables, you will appreciate a good meter.
