The Digicharger Vario adapts itself to just about every battery pack available. Cameras & Camcorders. Ansmann doesn’t even publish a compatibility list for this reason. However, unlike the Vario Pro, this standard model orients the batteries sideways in the charger bay, allowing for longer lengths of battery.

The Vario provides a simple charging status LED indicator. If you would like a more comprehensive display of battery status & charging status, then choose the Vario Pro model.

With the Digicharger Vario it is possible to do many more things. A charging current of 1000 mA provides short charging-times and contacts that are adjustable in both horizontal and vertical direction make it possible to charge nearly all Li-Ion battery packs, even those with a small contact area.

If you choose one charger to take with you on expeditions, this should be the one.

Compatibility Note…

The only dSLR battery we have encountered thus far, that won’t connect to this charger, is the Canon LP-E6. The contacts on this battery model are too close together.
