Charging dSLR batteries?

Most mobile electronics follow the USB format. USB car chargers & portable battery packs are easy to come by (the best are featured on this site of course!). Normally it is not possible to charge a 7V battery pack from a 5V USB source. But the Ansman Powerline Easy transforms the charging voltage to the 8.4V level necessary to charge 7.2 & 7.4V battery packs.
Charging smaller camera batteries is easy work for the Ansmann Powerline Easy. It reduces the 5V USB voltage down to the 4.2V range these batteries want.

Is it as good as dedicated battery chargers?

Better. The Ansmann Powerline Easy checks the applied voltage, sets the polarity, and sets the charging rate for safe and reliable charging. The control circuit in your camera battery itself lets the charger know when the battery is full, as it does with all chargers.
