The Enerplex Kickr 1 & Jumpr Mini will solar charge satellite phones, GPS receivers, handheld VHF radios, headlamps, small camera batteries, and just about any USB device. This is a Canadian solution, with solar panels made from solar cells that outperform crystalline cells in our Canadian climate & latitude.

The Enerplex Kickr 1 solar panel is comprised of 1.5 Watts of highly sensitive solar cells. Power is stored in the Enerplex Jumpr Mini – one of the smallest lightweight battery packs on the market, capable of supporting everything USB. The Kickr 1 CIGS solar panel used in this set will ‘turn on’ earlier in the morning & ‘turn off’ later in the afternoon than crystalline types of solar cell, which means that you will collect more overall power in low-light, partial shade, light overcast, and high latitude conditions than crystalline cells. After all, it’s not the efficiency of the cells in full sunlight that matters when you never get full sunlight!
