Description
The GP-ECLIPSE-FLEX-190-E SolarFlex Eclipse 190W Solar Expansion Kit by Go Power adds another 190 watts of power to your full 190W Eclipse Solar Kit. As your need for power grows, so can your RV solar system by adding additional modules to your existing SolarFlex™.
Each Go Power! expansion kit includes a solar module, mounting hardware and expansion connections to quickly connect to the existing solar module on your RV roof. Go Power! expansion kits feature SOLAR BRANCH CONNECTOR (multi-contact) for parallel wiring between our solar kits. This interlocking system allows for a simple installation that is reliable and safe. All Go Power! Solar Expansion kits are compatible with one another – 100 watts or higher.
Semi-Flex modules… are they fragile?
Only the cheaply designed and built semi-flex have problems. Some YouTube ‘experts’ think you can bend these things into barrel shapes without damage… sorry guys, no you can’t. The Semi-Flex design has distinct advantages: they eliminate racking costs, are lightweight & easy to install on vehicle roofs & boat decks, and are very efficient.
Go Power! Semi-Flex modules use SunPower IBC cells that are not only stronger and resist micro-cracks, but also inherently eliminate front-of-cell shading by electrical bus wires. Don’t bend the modules beyond a gentle curvature, use adhesive on the outside edges only, or use all the grommets for tight tie-downs, and you will get long years from your panels.

About Solar Flex™ Panels
The Go Power! Solar Flex™ panel is aerodynamic and DURABLE—a low-profile and bendable solar battery charger for RVs, boats, work trucks, long-haul trailers, and sleeper cabs. This solar panel conforms to almost any surface and is designed to provide a powerful charging solution for batteries. The high-efficiency monocrystalline cells produce more power per square foot than any other flexible panel on the market.
An impermeable lamination coats the entire Solar Flex™ module, allowing it to contour and flex against curved surfaces, eliminating any need for custom mounts. The panel can be affixed by adhesive or screws, and grommets are provided for ease of installation. The thin, lightweight module can also be, making this a truly versatile solar module.
These are the premium SunPower cells! If you are looking for semiflex solar, insist on SunPower. Their IBC (Interdigitated Back Contact) cells are uniquely best-suited to this sort of solar panel design where the cells need to be tougher than standard cells. Any micro cracking will rob you of performance, and with the metallic backing of IBC cells, you can expect better performance and longer service life.
