LG Chem RESU-10H Residential Battery System.
A RESU10 ESS (RESU-10H) battery system can store surplus energy generated from rooftop solar panels for use when needed. When the sun has set, energy demand is high, or there is a black-out, you can use the energy stored in your ESS (Energy Storage System) to meet your energy needs at no extra cost. Unlike a grid-tied solar system which automatically switches off, a battery storage system allows you to keep generating and consuming energy when the grid goes down. In addition, an ESS helps you pursue the goal of energy self-consumption and ultimately energy-independence.

The LG Chem RESU10H Primary and RESU10H Secondary are lithium-ion battery systems used for solar systems requiring energy storage with daily cycling. They have the ability to cycle daily for up to 10 years as needed for self-consumption, peak load shaving, backup power and other similar systems. The RESU10H Primary is the primary battery and the RESU10H Secondary is the second battery to couple to selected grid tie inverters, with compatible controls, at 400 VDC nominal.

Compact Size & Easy Installation
The compact and lightweight nature of the RESU is world-class. It is designed to allow easy wall-mounted or floor-standing installation for both indoor and outdoor applications. The inverter connections have also been simplified, reducing installation time and costs.

Live training will cover technical product information and provide the opportunity to complete the LG Chem Certification Test. Any contractor ordering LG Chem RESU batteries is required to have passed this test.

NOTE: Maximum installation altitude is 6,562 ft (2000 m).
Lifting handles are highly recommended for installing these batteries. Two handles are needed to lift and install then on a wall, and can be used again on future installs. Cost: $149 each.
