Description

This Passive Battery Box Vent is ideal when you just need to provide a little escape hatch for heat or battery gassing (flooded lead-acid). Designed to fit most metallic and non-metallic enclosures. For heat & electronics heat dissipation, we recommend placing one in a low position on one side of the box, and a second in a high position on the opposite side.

Proper installation will provide rainproof ventilation but will not meet Type 4 or 12 requirements. Insect resistant.
Kit includes mounting hardware and instructions.
Supplied screws are 13-mm (.515-in.) long. Some applications may require longer screws, or self-tapping metal screws suitable for your box material.
