The Powerfilm AA solar charger is the smallest, lightest AA solar charger utilizing Powerfilm's leading thin film solar technology to provide maximum power in any daylight condition.

This small, light solar charger packs more charging power than any of the flimsy plastic chargers you might find on sale at the big box stores. This kit provides over 2 Watts peak output, enough to charge a set of two high-capacity batteries in less than one day. Compare this to the less than 0.5 Watt output of the small AA/AAA solar chargers which would take up to 3 days to charge the same high capacity batteries.

NOTE:
If you see a small solar charger specifying that it charges batteries in 4 hours, they are talking low-capacity batteries, with 5 peak-sun hours of daylight (basically all day in the summer). they are not as sensitive, or poweful as this Powerfilm product.

PowerFilm solar modules are MADE IN THE USA, and are particularly good in partial shade & low-light conditions. Ideal for applications where you may not be able to have the panel exposed directly to sunlight all the time (ie strapped to your pack).
