PT14 Battery Overview
The PT14 battery combines all the great features found in HPS’ PT series of batteries but with a larger energy capacity. A high discharge capacity and built-in heating system make these batteries ideal for larger residential and commercial applications anywhere in Canada. Up to 24 of these modules can be paralleled to create a large, plug-and-play energy storage system. With intelligent battery integration, the balancing and integration of each parallel pack is done automatically. The PT14 features a UL9540A PASS battery allowing you to install these in almost any situation.
PT14 Features
BATTERY COMMUNICATION
The PT14 battery communicates with other PT14 batteries in the system, and with your inverter to ensure the best performance and energy monitoring. Compatible with most advanced inverters such as Sol-Ark, Schneider, Outback, Power Tower, and many others.
EXPANDABLE
Build the battery bank as you require. Add more storage later. Plug and play battery system allows for up to 24 PT14 Batteries in parallel. That as much as 336kWh of storage!

The battery SOC (state of charge), and other information is available at the touch of a button.
FULL CAPACITY
Top-rated Lithium Iron Phosphate cells combined with an advanced BMS (battery management system) provide exceptional duty cycling capability. Unlike lead-acid (AGM, lead-carbon, etc) the PT14 can provide 100% of its capacity when needed.
SECURE
Transporting & handling the battery is made easy with locking casters & lifting handles. Bolt-down tabs on the case allow for wall or rack installation.
SAFETY & LOW-TEMPERATURE PERFORMANCE
Lithium iron phosphate has a proven track record in some of the harshest environments including mining and transit. The PT14 is equipped with POLARSHIELD, a built-in heating system that optimizes performance even in cold weather climates. With POLARSHIELD, you can charge and discharge in temperatures as low as -30°C [-22°F].
The fume-free batteries mean you can place the system anywhere with no dangerous fumes like traditional lead-acid.
Numerous safety features are built-in including: over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current protection with a 150A CSA rated circuit breaker.
