Description

Morningstar’s SunSaver MPPT 15L solar controller with TrakStar™ Technology is an advanced maximum power point tracking (MPPT) battery charger for small off-grid PV systems. Maximum Power Point Tracking permits maximum charging current to be taken from solar panels by managing the operating voltage of the modules.

This is one of the smallest MPPT solar charge controllers available on the market, providing 15A of solar panel support : 200Wp in 12V systems or 400Wp in 24V systems.

The SunSaver MPPT is well suited for both professional and small residential PV applications including automatic lighting control. Its charging process has been optimized for long battery life and improved system performance. This product is epoxy encapsulated for environmental protection, may be adjusted by the user via four settings switches or connection to a personal computer, and has an optional remote meter and battery temperature sensor.
