The Voltaic Array is an amazingly well-built backpack. Like all Voltaic packs, it is made from premium materials, and designed to be a comfortable daypack. Second, it has power to spare… 10 Watts of solar, and 72 Watt-Hours of power storage to support all your electronics.
The Array Solar Backpack both carries and charges your laptop. It will also charge cell phones, tablets and digital cameras. The front solar pocket is removable and can be attached to other bags for convenient charging (ie: the Voltaic Fuse 10W). Besides charging all your electronics, it has 1,500 cubic inches of storage space, a padded laptop sleeve, integrated phone pouch and plenty of other pockets.

Three 3.5 Watt crystalline solar panels for just over 10 Watts generate power in sunlight. They are waterproof, lightweight and built to withstand abuse. Each hour of summer sunlight provides up to 30 minutes laptop runtime. 90 minutes of direct sun provides a complete cell phone charge.
The Voltaic Array’s universal solar storage battery provides 72 Watt Hours of capacity for use anytime and is specially designed to charge efficiently from solar. When not in the sun, the battery can be charged using the included AC Charger making it just as useful on the grid as off

Dell: Voltaic’s external battery will not re-charge the battery on the Dell, but it will run the laptop. This means you should not run your Dell battery completely flat when planning to use an external battery.
Samsung: Some current Samsung sub-notebooks have a small barrel shaped plug (3.0×1.0mm) which is not offered as part of our standard set, please see optional laptop adapters.
