The OffGrid Solar Backpack is Voltaic's most versatile bag. The solar pocket is removable and can be attached to other bags, backpacks, bikes, or virtually anything else. It is the Voltaic Fuse integrated into the backpack!

Besides charging all your handheld electronics via universal USB port, it has 1,500 cubic inches (that's 25L) of storage space, a padded laptop sleeve, integrated phone pouch and plenty of other pockets.

Yes, the Voltaic power system is Apple-friendly. This means is supports all iPods, iPhones, and even the iPad*. Being universal means that the system will also handle any other USB device you might have. Plus 9 connectors are included to charge phones, media players, game consoles, connect to battery chargers, and more.
*powers it, but not enough guts to actually charge it from the battery alone. Combined with the solar panel power, the iPad will charge.

Two 2.0 Watt Solar Panels generate 4 Watts total power in peak sunlight. They are waterproof, lightweight and built to withstand abuse.

Smartphones:

Tablets:
Charges all tablets that are powered by USB including Apple iPads and Samsung Tablets. Will not charge tablets that charge at 12 or 16 Volts.
Digital Cameras:
Compatible with cameras that charge from USB like GoPros.
Not compatible with DSLRs directly - use the PIXO C-USB charger

A Note About Tablets:
Tablet computers, like the iPad, can be 'powered' from the OffGrid's V15 internal battery, which means you will not be draining the tablet's battery. However, most tablets will not 'charge' from the 1A output of the V15 battery. Ask about upgrading to the V44 battery which offers the full 2.1A USB output for Tablets.
