BATTERY BOXES & ENCLOSURES

Design Features
• Standard boxes are fabricated from .125” thick 5052-H32 aluminum
• Heavy duty stainless steel continuous hinge
• Seams are continuously welded and then sanded smooth
• Adjustable tension stainless steel padlock hasp
• The standard finish is a bright white polyester powder-coat inside and out (other colors available)
• Built to NEMA 3R specifications
• Filtered or screened ventilation louvers
• Chest style, pad- or ground-mounted, and hinged-lid battery boxes feature welded skid channels
• Pole-mounted battery boxes feature two 7/8″ diameter wire holes, hinged front door with PORON door gasket, removable component mounting plate, supplied with u-bolts for pole (if specified)

TOP-OF-POLE RACKS

Design Features

  • gimbals are powder-coated steel, strongbacks are galvanized steel
  • seasonally adjustable from 0º to 60º in 10º increments
  • module rails are 6061-T6 structural aluminum extrusions
  • rail brackets are 6061-T6 structural aluminum angle
  • racks are module specific, designed to bottom-bolt using factory holes
  • standard models are rated for 90mph wind loads

SIDE-OF-POLE RACKS

Design Features
• Racks are constructed of 6061-T6 structural aluminum extrusions or 5052-H32 aluminum sheet
• Supplied with stainless steel band clamps or u-bolts
• All hardware is stainless steel
• Seasonally adjustable
• Racks are module specific, designed to bottom-bolt using factory holes*
• Standard models are rated for 90mph wind loads, 130mph versions available  

Options…
• U-bolts instead of band clamps (pole diameter must be specified)
• Anodizing or powder-coating
• Heavy-duty band clamps for attaching to telephone poles or large diameter utility poles
• Designs for lag-bolting to wood poles
• Square-bend u-bolts for attaching to square poles

ROOF/GROUND RACKS

Design Features
• Racks are constructed of 6061-T6 structural aluminum extrusions, hardware is stainless steel
• Standard models are rated for 90mph wind loads, 130mph versions available
• Racks are module specific, designed to bottom-bolt using factory holes –
  just specify your module when ordering.
• Telescoping legs for adjustable tilt angles are standard, one-piece legs for fixed tilt are optional
